Shilpa Walia

Shilpa Walia has built her career in specialist education and children’s services. She studied psychology and worked as a Service Manager at Sussex Educare from 2007 to 2009. She later held senior management roles in residential special schools, gaining experience in the day-to-day work of supporting children and the teams around them.

In 2019, Shilpa helped establish Odyssey Education. She played a central part in shaping its foundations and supporting the early development of Odyssey House School. Her work draws on experience in team leadership, coaching, project management and change management.

Shilpa is committed to making a positive difference in children’s lives. As Co-Founder, she continues to contribute to the development of education provision shaped around young people’s needs.
